AHS Celebrates 15 Years

Dear Hamiltonians,

As we commemorate the fifteenth anniversary of the Alexander Hamilton Society, we do so with deep pride and enduring gratitude. What began as a bold vision in 2010 has since grown into a dynamic, nationwide organization dedicated to cultivating the next generation of principled leaders in foreign policy and national security.

Our founders recognized that the root of many of the challenges confronting American foreign policy originate in the classroom where future leaders first grapple with the ideas that shape our world. In response, we have launched and sustained more than 80 thriving university chapters nationwide, hosting over 250 academic events each school year. Our mission is to shape young leaders into passionate, informed professionals ready to serve in the national security arena. Every year, graduates join our robust and growing network of more than 2,400 alumni serving in government, think tanks, journalism, academia, and the private sector.

Our growing professional chapters in New York City and Washington, D.C., host more than 20 events per year, providing vibrant hubs where alumni and other professionals convene to debate and discuss pressing national security challenges. These gatherings foster intellectual rigor, strategic insight, and an unwavering commitment to the American national interest. Our flagship Security and Strategy Seminar continues to guide perspectives on critical defense issues and launch rising leaders to new heights in their careers.

None of these achievements would have been possible without you: our students, alumni, members, partners, and supporters. Your belief in our mission has fueled our growth, strengthened our network, and made AHS a cornerstone of the national security conversation in Washington and beyond.

As we look to the future, we are determined to build on this strong foundation. We will expand our reach, grow our programming, and prepare an even greater number of students and professionals to lead with clarity and principle in an increasingly complex and contested world.

Thank you for being part of this critical mission. We are honored to carry it forward with you.

With gratitude,

Molly Tobin
