AHS Announces Dr. Max Prowant as New Director of Academic Program

The Alexander Hamilton Society (AHS) proudly welcomes Dr. Max Prowant as its new Director of Academic Programs. In this senior leadership position, Dr. Prowant will oversee AHS’s national network of student-led campus chapters, manage and develop the organization’s flagship national programs, and oversee the publication of the annual student journal, The Hamiltonian.

Dr. Prowant brings valuable experience from his previous positions as a research fellow at both the Institute on Religion and Democracy and the Philos Project, where he specialized in counterinsurgency strategies in Sub-Saharan Africa. He also serves as an Associate Editor at Law & Liberty, contributing insights on national security and grand strategy. Dr. Prowant earned his Ph.D. and M.A. from the University of Texas at Austin.
