Student engagement and debate over the enduring ideas and urgent issues of world politics is central to AHS’s mission of cultivating tomorrow’s foreign policy leaders. To that end, we strongly encourage every chapter to host at least one book club each academic year.
Consult with your chapter membership, select a book to read and analyze together, and then submit the application below to host a book club. Upon approval, each participating member will receive a complimentary copy of the book.
Any AHS members interested in reading and analyzing a book on their own can also request a copy. You can see the proposal guidelines below.
We encourage you to consider titles from our AHS Library, but you may also propose any significant work in the study of foreign, defense, and economic statecraft.
