The Alexander Hamilton Society’s Security and Strategy Seminar (SSS) is a prestigious graduate-level program in Washington, D.C., designed for junior to mid-level professionals working in policy-relevant institutions. This year-long seminar, running from September to May, offers four distinct tracks focused on key strategic challenges facing the United States: the People’s Republic of China, Vladimir Putin’s Russia, the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Defense Strategy and Policy. Participants engage in 15 evening sessions featuring rigorous readings, written essays, crisis simulations, and opportunities to connect with leading scholars and practitioners. The program aims to deepen fellows’ understanding of American grand strategy, sharpen their analytical skills, and build a strong professional cohort dedicated to advancing U.S. interests in a competitive global environment.
