Chapter of the Year & Chapter Leaderboard
The Chapter of the Year is selected from the top 4 scorers in each academic year. Additionally, speaker evaluations and the assessment of the national staff contribute to award selections. Except in unusual circumstances, the same chapter will not win the same award in consecutive years.
2022-2023: BAYLOR UNIVERSITY
In the 2022-2023 school year, AHS Baylor held seven debates and discussions with AHS speakers and other policy experts, which were attended by almost 500 students. Topics of conversation included book talks from Aaron Friedberg, Hal Brands, and Will Inboden as well as conversations about cybersecurity and trade policy.
For their efforts, the chapter also won Baylor's Student Organization of the Year award out of a group of 395 groups on campus and their faculty advisors Dr. Peter Campbell and Dr. Richard Jordan also jointly won Student Organization Advisors of the Year. Congratulations again on the well-deserved recognition!
