The Alexander Hamilton Society (AHS) is seeking to hire a full-time Program Associate to support its national network of student chapters and academic programming. AHS is a non-partisan, not-for-profit, national organization that seeks to identify, educate, and launch young men and women into foreign policy and national security careers imbued with the Hamiltonian perspective of strong and principled American leadership in global affairs. We have established student-run chapters at over 80 universities as well as professional chapters and programming in NYC and Washington, D.C. Key Responsibilities
Provide guidance and support to student leaders through regular correspondence to plan and execute all campus programming, including events with foreign policy experts and student-led group discussions on U.S. foreign policy and national security matters;
Communicate regularly and build relationships with distinguished foreign policy scholars and practitioners to coordinate campus and national programming;
Design and draft general chapter communications to students in the weekly newsletter, the Hamilton Dispatch, including briefs on key U.S. foreign policy issues;
Help oversee the editorial process and digital content creation of AHS’s student journal the Hamiltonian;
Help manage strategies and programs for student engagement; Oversee chapter member information and data management via CRM software (Hubspot) and website;
Track and process all chapter-related quantitative and qualitative data and reimbursement systems;
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in social sciences and 1-2 years of full-time employment;
Outstanding communication, writing, organizational, and interpersonal skills;
A strong understanding of and commitment to AHS’s mission and principles;
Knowledgeable about critical issues in U.S. foreign policy and national security;
A comfort level with CRM systems and Google Workspace;
Ability to problem solve and manage multiple projects while adhering to deadlines;
Entrepreneurial and positive attitude and thinking;
Exceptional personal judgment and integrity;
